Truck 2
1987
Dodge Power Ram
This truck is a quick attack truck that carries 200 gallons of water with 150’ of 1 ½” attack hand line. This 4x4 truck carries medical supplies (i.e. oxygen, backboards, neck collars) and is first response to all medical emergencies. This truck also carries the water rescue equipment which includes ropes, helmets, personal floatation devices, and an ice rescue suit . Some town residents heat with wood which can lead to chimney fires. For this purpose we carry chimney brushes, poles, ladders and chemicals to extinguish this type of fire.

Tanker 4
1977
Mack
This truck was purchased by the department in the late 1980’s. It was a cab for a tractor-trailer unit that was involved in a roll over. We bought it, removed the fifth wheel, painted, and outfitted this vehicle to be an 2000-gallon tanker. The tank was found in Pittsfield over an embankment where the owner was ready to bury it. Tankers are used to supply water to the attack engines in places where the water supply is not close to the fire scene.
